• Course and Destination Choice: Explain why you’ve chosen a particular course in Australia and how it aligns with your goals.
• Benefits of Studying: Describe how completing the course will benefit you.
• Study History: If you’ve studied in Australia before, share relevant details.
• Other Relevant Information: Include any additional relevant information you’d like to provide.

     3. Word Limit

• Your answers should be written in English, with a maximum of 150 words per question.
• Attach supporting documents to your ImmiAccount to strengthen your case. Generic statements without evidence carry less weight in the assessment.

     4. Student Visa Declaration

The new declaration confirms that the Applicant for an Australian Student visa:

• Understands what it means to be a genuine student.
• Commits to complying with student visa conditions and notifying the Department of Home Affairs of any changes.
• Recognizes that while post-study pathways to permanent migration exist, only a limited number of graduates will be eligible.

      5. Effective Date

• The GS requirement applies to student visa applications lodged on or after 23 March 2024.
• Applications lodged before this date will continue to be assessed based on the previous GTE requirement.
